My passion and commitment to the arts have been an integral part of my life for over 20 years. I began sharpening my skills and understanding of art in a very Renaissance-like education in Como, Italy. After learning about the subtleties of interior architecture and design, I returned to the States. I switched creative gears to explore graphic design and I received a B.A. in Communication Design from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design. At mid-career I felt that I wanted to explore the business side of creative organizations. How do things work behind the scenes? Why do people make the decisions they do? What are they motivated by and how can we work with that? So many question… and so I went back to school to pursue my M.A. in the Arts Administration & Policy program at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
I am grateful to have had such a rich and rewarding arts education, but I’m not done yet. I want to make my designs come alive with motion graphics — the journey continues…!
